My name is Elena Berlo. I live in Sunnyside, NY with my husband, Eugen, and our two boys, David (5y) and Peter (4m).

I am an architect and an artist, constantly working on a new project idea.

I graduated from Queen Maria National College of Arts, Constanta, and Ion Mincu University of Architecture, Bucharest. After I moved to New York, I studied at Fashion Institute of Technology to become a Color Specialist. That is where I developed an interest in fabrics and product development.

I love building big and small. I see every need as a challenge to create on my own and there is nothing more satisfying than a completed project.

Besides my architectural experience which accounts for my big projects, my small projects range from crib sets and twin bed sets, blankets and towels, snack bags and napkins and two bottle wine totes for a lovely local store.

As time goes by more will add to the list and I will show them all to the world.

Our family shares a passion for painting, trees are in fashion right now. We are big zoo goers and newbie’s at the botanical garden.
